Privacy Policy

How Home2Love collects, uses and protects your personal information whenever you shop or browse with us.

Last updated: 29 October 2026

Who We Are

Home2Love (“Home2Love”, “we”, “us”) of 3 Lightbody Street, Liverpool L5 9UZ is the data controller for personal information collected through home2love.co.uk. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

What We Collect

  • Account and order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, the room packages you save and your order history.
  • Payment details: card payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Trade applications: your name or trading name, mobile number, email address, website or social media link, your answers to our insurance and registration questions, your Gas Safe, NICEIC or NAPIT numbers, the insurance and waste carrier documents you upload, your years of experience and the trade reference you give us.
  • Fitter links and commission: when a customer orders through a fitter’s link or code, we record which fitter the order came from and the commission added to their wallet.
  • Withdrawals: the bank account name, sort code and account number a fitter gives us to be paid.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or through the website.

How We Use It

  • To take payment, deliver your order and look after you afterwards (to perform our contract with you).
  • To run your account, saved packages and, for trade accounts, your wallet and withdrawals (contract).
  • To check trade applications, including contacting the reference you give us, and to provide trade pricing (contract, and our legitimate interest in knowing the fitters we work with are insured and registered).
  • To pay fitter commission and tell fitters which orders it came from (contract).
  • To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
  • To send you news and offers, only if you have agreed (consent).

Fitters and Their Customers

If you order through a fitter’s link or code, the fitter can see in their account that you placed an order, your name, the order date, status and total, and the commission it earned them. They cannot see your payment details.

Who We Share It With

We share information only as needed with our payment provider (Stripe), delivery companies, our website hosting and IT support provider (InfaCloud), our accountants, the fitter an order came from (as above), and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

How Long We Keep It

Order, commission and accounting records are kept for 6 years to meet tax rules. Account details are kept while your account is open. Trade application documents are kept while your trade account is open and for up to 12 months after an application is declined or an account is closed. Bank details given for a withdrawal are deleted once that withdrawal has been paid or declined; we keep your latest details in your account so you do not have to type them again, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Contact [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use cookies that the website needs to work: to keep your basket, checkout and account, to remember the room you are building, and to remember a fitter link or code you have used so your 20% off applies at checkout. If we add analytics or marketing cookies we will ask for your consent first.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page.
